The client is a business that owns brands for creating highest level books, periodicals, websites, and content across platforms, as well as a wine testing company for reviews and ratings. They are one of Australia's leading privately held media companies with a worldwide focus.
The main goal of this project for RBT seamlessly upgrade Sitecore from version 7.2 to version 10.2. The client wished to benefit from current version 10.2's new advancements as well as its new features, functionality, and power.

Content Migration:
In stage 1, we used the migration tool to update Sitecore 7.2 to Sitecore 9, and in stage 2, we used the Schema SQL Script to upgrade Sitecore 9.2 to Sitecore 10.2.
Conversion from Lucele to SOLR:
Glass Mapper Upgrade
New methods were evaluated in place of out-of-date ones, and the code logic was altered to reflect them.
Migration of Users and Roles:
Creating third-party nugget packages for Sitecore 10.2:
upgraded and modified the code based on an analysis of the compatible nugget packages.
Technology:
Sitecore XP 10.2 and hosted AWS.

Solution:
Content Migration:
In stage 1, we used the migration tool to update Sitecore 7.2 to Sitecore 9, and in stage 2, we used the Schema SQL Script to upgrade Sitecore 9.2 to Sitecore 10.2.
Conversion from Lucele to SOLR:
- Changed configuration for assembly reference.
- Analysed assembly reference for SOLR.
- Converted custom index according to SOLR
- Added suitable data types and handled queries as a result.
Glass Mapper Upgrade
New methods were evaluated in place of out-of-date ones, and the code logic was altered to reflect them.
Migration of Users and Roles:
- Went with secure database conversion because of the magnitude of the data.
- Executed the SQL Schema Script for user and role conversion.
- The conversion used the core database and the security database.
