Client is an agricultural leader serving thousands of retail locations that directly impact farmer’s success in the American market. They have since expanded globally and now include Brazil and Mexico as a primary market. Their way of business has a track record of proven success.

Project Summary

Client has partnered with distributors and farmers to deliver agriculture solutions, products and technologies to improve yield and profitability potential on every hectare. This website contains major sections like Experience, Products Technologies and Education & Guidance. There is also a provision for customer or organization to send their name and email id to get more information from the client.


In this section, Client’s experience in providing solutions over 2 million acres are explained. Core Values of providing all-in attitude in partnership with customers, agricultural distributors who invests in unbiased research, providing leading agronomic professions and developing lightning fast logistic network.

Products Technologies

In this section, Clients crop protection and Seed related products are explained. Inter Lock adjuvant which is the 2nd most applied crop protection product in the U.S., due to its unique formulation and impact on spray applications.

Education & Guidance

In this section, details related to Client’s proprietary tools and data are provided to help to choose the most suitable products for customer’s fields. The product portfolio offers producers flexibility and choice to meet unique operational goals. The client also conducts Performance data seminars and training and customer consultations. Customer can Sign up to learn about events in their area.

This project is developed in Kentico 12 MVC to leverage the content management features like Widgets, Page Templates and Common Widgets. Important implementation in this project is multicultural feature. Both Portugal and Spanish languages are implemented here to support Brazil and Mexico sites.  Advantage of using Kentico content management system is to enable the content update functionality by users with ease without rebuilding the entire application. Application is deployed in Azure DevOps to leverage the advanced features like CI/CD and key vault.

Goals & Challenges

The goal of the project is to provide effective relation between Retailer and Customer by means of effective order management and timely notifications.

Challenges are as following:
  • To build a loosely coupled application with common components that can be used across the projects
  • All the content on the web pages should be editable and manageable by the content editor
  • Implementation of Multicultural features to support Portugal and Spanish languages
  • SSO integration 
  • Inbound and Outbound integrations with in-house applications

  • Used agile methodology. Delivered Minimum Viable Product (MVP) initially and added remaining features in the next sprints
  • Content editors have the ability to manage the multilingual content using the Kentico admin interface
  • Website configuration for APIs and services are managed in Settings application
  • Integrated 3rd party components like Twilio, Adobe analytics and Salesforce.
